Actually I believe MMORPGs is mostly good for you and makes you happy. At least it has been that way for me when I was playing. I'm glad it is that way for you, as well! Hopefully this study will show that, too.

For me the questions about aches and pains and sleeping problems are not really valid to the online gaming subject, I have M.E (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) so I have those anyway.

yeah I hear ya on that one....I have had my sleeping problems for some time now....and he is currently sleeping (my hubby snores).....and my aches and pains came with the genes I got....so they arent game related (heck didnt even HAVE a computer, no, there was NO internet like we know it when my discs slipped---)

Maybe sleeping problems are not related to onlinegaming, although for me I did notice going to bed later and later, especially when I was playing MUDs.

I must say, this is by far the most friendly forum i've posted in this far. We enjoy all of your contributions!

Default Reminder: Participate in a survey about MMORPGs!

The collection of data is now drawing to an end and we thank all of you that has taken part in the survey about MMORPG player types. To those of you that has not yet done it, we would greatly appreciate your participation in this onlinesurvey that takes about 12 minutes to complete. It is anonymous and in english.

Our research team from Uppsala University, Sweden, consists of Viktor Kaldo, clinical psychologist and PhD-student just finishing his thesis on Internet-based self-help treatment and David Hagström, psychology student, whose undergraduate thesis will be the framework for this project during spring 2008. Gunilla Bohlin, professor, will be supervising the study.
